Used-Patterson Steel Ball Mill 5' diameter, 4' long, 78 cubic feet. 587 gallon capacity with lifter bars. Serial No. P7416. Not water jacketed. Mill is mounted on steel legs and pillow block bearings. Includes two 9 x 15 " grinding doors plus two same size discharge doors for unloading mill. The two discharge openings are 180 degrees apart so that the mill can be unloaded at two points for each revolution. Mill is enclosed in a steel discharge jacket which is connected to an inclined conveyor. Mill is driven by a 40 hp, 1760 rpm Sterling motor with a Stearns brake. Mill contains approximately 12,000 pounds of 1” balls.
